Lock Policy & Payment Rules
Locks
- Every unit must be secured with a facility-approved lock.
- We sell disc locks at move-in. These are the best for security.
- You keep your own keys. We do not keep spares.
Lost Keys
- If you lose your key, we will cut the lock for you at your expense.
- A new lock must be purchased.
Late Payments
- If rent remains unpaid 5 days after your due date, your unit will be secured with a facility overlock until the balance is brought current.
- The overlock prevents access until your account is current.
- Once payment is made, the overlock is removed. You must provide a new lock.
Abandoned Units / Auctions
- If your unit goes to auction under North Carolina lien law, all locks will be removed.
- The facility is not responsible for tenant locks or keys.
Reminder
- Keep your key in a safe place.
- Pay on time to avoid lockouts and extra charges.
